[fav] Brika – “Distracted” (136bpm A♯min) & “Gold” (135bpm C♯min)
“Distracted,” my favorite track from her 2019 EP “Every Third Thought.”
“Gold,” my favorite track from her 2017 album “Memos.”
[fav] Ásgeir – “King and Cross” (100bpm C♯min)
Ásgeir Trausti is from Iceland which means don’t bother trying to pronounce his name. In 2017, I visited France with my family. I heard this at a café in Maussane-les-Alpilles. Good stuff. The music video has ballerinas dancing with SWAT police officers in a metal fabrication plant. What more could you want?
